Mental Health Matters: It's Mental Health Awareness Month

Happy Mental Health Awareness Month: Mental Health Matters! This topic is so near and dear to my heart as a result of my own personal issues that I've struggled with in the past. As someone who has dealt with anxiety since the age of six, including mental health in my brand is so important. I truly want PNP to be apart of positive change, so I am dedicated to not only spreading more awareness about mental health but also supporting the cause.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, PNP will be donating to NAMI : The National Alliance on Mental Illness. Twenty percent of the revenue from our e-book sales will be donated directly to the organization to help the cause.

NAMI was founded in 1979 and is now the nation's largest grassroots organization for mental health. The organization offers a range of things in efforts to spread awareness, educate, and support the cause. The organization offers information that is accessible on their website about what mental health is, treatment, and more. NAMI also offers a variety of classes, educational resources, and events to help others learn more about the subject.

PNP is truly excited to use our brand to help further the work that the organization is already doing. Once again, as a person that has experienced issues such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, it is imperative to make space for those that are experiencing issues of their own.

Mental health matters because it quite literally affects our overall wellbeing. If we don't feel right mentally, those feelings transfer to the physical and emotional aspects as well. If you or someone you know is dealing with mental illness of some form, please allow PNP to be a safe space for you. We offer general information about mental health, mental health resources such as therapy and hotlines, and self care activities. We also just released a guided workbook journal to help others on their self care journeys.

If you don't do anything else, please remember to always be kind. You never truly know what a person is going through, and kindness goes such a long way. You may be the light in the midst of someone's darkness.
